RENK slide bearings type HG have been specifically designed for horizontal hydro turbine generator applications.
The HG bearing is a fully self contained, oil sump lubricated, slide bearing. It is designed to cope with the high axial overloads and over speed conditions, also "black starts" encountered in such applications.
